Marcia Howards is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Commercial and Corporate team at Saracens Solicitors, specialising in corporate law, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance and emerging technologies. She advises businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, fund managers and technology companies on a broad range of domestic and international commercial matters.
Marcia has extensive experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, asset sales and purchases, collective investment schemes, AIM-listed fund management matters and financial licensing applications. Marcia qualified as a solicitor in New South Wales, Australia in 2003 and subsequently qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2008. She trained and worked within leading commercial, corporate and property practices before undertaking an in-house legal secondment with a private health insurance company. In the UK, she has acted as legal counsel for both regulated and non-regulated businesses, private companies and publicly listed organisations, providing strategic advice on commercial transactions, corporate governance and regulatory matters.
More recently, Marcia’s practice has focused on emerging technologies, digital assets and blockchain-related ventures, helping innovative businesses navigate complex regulatory environments while pursuing commercial opportunities in developing markets.
