Your questions answered by a mortgage solicitor

We understand that for most people, buying and selling their home is one of the biggest financial transactions that they will ever enter into. It can be an immensely stressful yet exciting time in a person’s life. With the assistance of a mortgage solicitor in London, our clients can take advantage of our many years of experience in completing property transactions seamlessly and quickly, so they are able to move forward with their future plans.

Over the time that we have worked in central London we have established many working relationships with those who work in the real estate and mortgage sectors. We have worked for numerous local clients and know the London area like the back of our hands. We also have the experience of acting for many well financed individuals and businesses from Russia, China, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. We are able to work with you and your advisors in many different situations to secure your property efficiently and smoothly.

Our ethos is ‘building trust through understanding’. We do not take on numerous cheap conveyancing transactions that bolster our numbers, but do nothing for the integrity and passion of our team members. We are more interested in working for each client as we guide them through the entire process to enjoy the pleasure that comes from obtaining their new home or investment property.

We get to know our clients over the time that we work with them and take the journey of moving or investing in property, with them. It is a huge emotional experience for many people, especially first time home buyers and we enjoy helping to make it happen.

Our mortgage solicitors in London provide a bespoke service with the same level of attention to detail and dedication for wealthy clients as those who are buying their first home. Our services come at a competitive and affordable price and we make sure that the property transaction goes through smoothly.

How long is it going to take?

It can vary between properties, however we can comfortably say that the conveyancing process on average takes between 6 to 10 weeks. It can take longer than this should the property have a complex title or is older and needs to have several checks completed on it, but rest assured that we will work as quickly as we can whilst leaving no stone unturned.

We know that clients are eager to get the process underway. If delays do occur, we will immediately inform clients as to why and let them know what we are doing to move things forward.

I have heard a lot about conveyancing fraud, what are you doing to protect me from this?

Rest assured that we take numerous precautions to protect you from fraud and are extremely diligent and strict about these scenarios with all of our clients.

Regardless of the size of your property or the amount of money that is involved, the protection of your money is our top priority. There are a few simply procedures that we adhere to strictly and routinely to ensure the safety of your money is paramount, including using an encrypted password protected system to communicate about finances.

One of the best ways that we can protect you from fraud is done by simply getting to know you. The way that we work is a more personal experience so throughout the course of the conveyancing transactions we get to know your voice, your mannerisms and the way that you communicate in both written and verbal styles. We are trained to understand the potential of any kind of fraud so should we ever slightly feel that anything is out of place, we will never take a chance and will double check the situation.

You can rest assured that not only are we accredited and awarded Lexcel status, but we also hold a Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation. These endorsements are not given away lightly and we are proud to be acknowledged for our superior behaviour and knowledge in this field.

We believe that by choosing us as your team to work alongside in all conveyancing matters, that you are benefitting from our experience, and also our quality standards.

We understand that buying a home can be an extremely stressful and confusing time in your life and that throughout the process life cannot stop. You need to continue on with everyday life on top of needing to organise all of the information needed in order to complete a sale and move into a new home.

We make sure that you are fully versed in the key terms and conditions of your mortgage in plain English so that you understand what you are agreeing to and that there will be no nasty surprises later down the line. By understanding what your mortgage entails, you can make informed decisions that can save you money in future.

As mortgage solicitors in London we will keep you fully informed throughout the entire process and are available to answer any of your questions so that we can minimise any of the worries that you may have, whilst completing the transaction swiftly and precisely. We want to see you in your new home as quickly as possible, as you do yourselves.
